Photo Shoot for Motociclismo Fuoristrada
It was December when Marco Gualdani of Motociclismo Fuoristrada contacted us requesting a photographer for a photo shoot for their magazine. It was something unexpected and, as quite often happens in this world, unplanned. The shoot was scheduled for two days’ time and the details of the location were still unknown. We were told it was close to Lake Maggiore, that the subject was a bike and nothing else. Marco told us we could chat more about the details and the picture requirements on our way there.
On the morning of the shoot we met halfway to the final location where Marco showed us what it was that he wanted – a couple of static pictures of the bike and its parts to be used for the magazine to better explain the bike and a couple of dynamic pictures of the bike. The exact location was still unknown as everything was managed by the bike factory.
Once at the shoot destination, we found out that the bike was a Beta the 300 Racing and that our rider for the day was Jordy Manzoni, well known for his school “In moto col Gigi”. Ivan Zanone, Beta Factory mechanic, took care of the bike specs and took us to a secret spot. Being an Enduro bike we had to move deeper into the woods – despite being sunny, it was freezing. The week before it had rained a lot, so under the autumn leaves there were streams crossing our path. After taking all the static pictures, finally it was time to let the engine talk and for Jordy to show off! Thanks again for the amazing day!
